This teaching is based on the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15: 11-32). Using the parable as a model, participants first examine: where they are (and how they got there), then they identify things they need to do personally in order to arise and walk in their calling. Symbolisms examined throughout this teaching are: the “house” = Heaven; the “field” = the church; and the “far country” = the world. In this teaching resource participants examine whether they are indeed “pressing toward the mark” from “God’s perspective”. Self-examination questions are used throughout the text so readers can walk away with a more realistic view of their standing. It is God who: sets the mark, holds the prize, and, ‘calls’- His way through Christ Jesus. When we truly are pressing toward the mark we can say as Paul that nothing shall separate us from God or His love (Ro. 8: 35-end).

Participants examine: • the “heart” as it relates to one’s physical and mental self; • the inward parts – physical and spiritual; and, • the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory system in relation to one’s spiritual body.
